The Proposal Production Manager leads the production and formatting of complex, large-scale Medicaid proposals from RFP release through submission. The role establishes trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including print vendors, Proposal team members, and leadership, to ensure proposals meet RFP requirements and are produced to high quality standards. The position manages end-to-end production for printed and digital proposal submissions through multiple review cycles. This includes preparing files to RFP specifications, creating fillable PDFs, flattening and combining PDFs, pagination, and redacting proprietary or confidential information as needed. The manager also advances continuous process improvement, including incorporating AI, maintaining resources and procedures, and analyzing competitor bids. The role may delegate production tasks to team members and coordinate templates, document formatting, RFP files, printing, proofing, reviews, and final submission. This is a remote role available anywhere in the United States. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time, and flexible or extended hours are expected as proposal schedules require. Remote employees must follow UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
