As a Proposal Material Program Manager (MPM) you're accountable for the Supply Chain proposal efforts for the Air and Space Defense Systems portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape and execute a new combined bid and procurement strategy for the customer. As a successful MPM, you’re a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can drive change through creative problem solving.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Experience working on proposals
  • Ability to work on programs requiring special program access
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

  • Experience managing budgets
  • Experience managing large databases
  • Experience managing proposal activities
  • Experience managing, and/or working with supplier
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)
  • Commitment to earning Material Program Management certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting program proposal kickoffs and strategy development, balancing strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
  • Generating and/or collecting necessary documentation for successful proposals, including sole source justifications, DD254 facilitation, EX/IM planning and gathering entrance criteria needed to kick off the requests for proposals (RFPs) to the procurement teams, pricing approvals and much more.
  • Developing and executing to supply chain proposal strategy in support of all program gate review and risk and opportunity management reviews.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Ensuring proposal compliance to DFAR/FAR and TINA compliance.
