About The Position

At Toole Design, we are dedicated to creating safer, more connected communities through sustainable multimodal transportation design. We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our Boston team. This role is crucial in supporting and strengthening impactful roadway and active transportation projects from behind the scenes, ensuring operational excellence that aligns with our mission and values.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, English, journalism, or similar relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Four to five years of hands-on experience in proposal preparation/coordination, layout design, writing, and copy editing, and working with a team.
• Advanced proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Basic experience with Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• A collaborative approach to generating strategies and developing creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full proposal lifecycle.
• Coordinate proposal assignments with technical staff and teaming partners.
• Produce appealing layouts in InDesign, ensuring proposals are compliant and meet Toole Design's standards.
• Perform copy editing and proofreading to ensure products are error-free.
• Develop interview presentations and marketing collateral.
