About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has opportunities for Proposal Analysts (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in El Segundo, California. The selected candidates will join our proposal team to develop, plan and schedule proposals. They will compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. This role will coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. The analyst will participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives, prepare proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies, prepare certified cost and pricing data packages, and support proposal audits and negotiations with customers. This position may be filled at either the Level 2 or Level 3 Proposal Analyst depending upon candidates, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.

Requirements

  • Level 2: Bachelors degree AND 2 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters Degree.
  • Level 3: Bachelors degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • FAR/DFARS knowledge
