Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The selected candidates will join our team to perform economic research and studies on subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. They will prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management, and develop, maintain, and establish operational specifications for financial information systems considering information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment. This role may involve analysis on business development and monitoring business performance by unit or division, analyzing large program allocations, and interfacing with program finance and program managers for monthly financial forecasts, issues, concerns, and status. Cross-functional coordination with multiple organizations is also a key aspect of this role. The position may be filled at either the Level 2 or Level 3 Financial Analyst level depending upon candidates' skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience.

Requirements

  • Level 2 Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree AND 2 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters Degree.
  • Level 2: Experience with Excel
  • Level 2: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
  • Level 2: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Level 3 Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience.
  • Level 3: Experience with Excel
  • Level 3: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
  • Level 3: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
