About The Position

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Proposal Analyst – Level 3 to join their Proposal Operations team. This team is responsible for applying proposal execution strategies and leadership to ensure successful, compliant, and on-time proposal submissions for top Sector Priority Win proposal pursuits. The role offers opportunities to lead large teams, gain exposure to sector/corporate upper management, and develop technical and strategic skills. The Space Sector is an industry-leading provider of satellite and payload capabilities, directed energy, and electronics solutions for national security, military, and civil customers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in proposals – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in proposals.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, negotiating and problem solving with a wide range of functions and people.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.
Research and analyze historical data as well as develop cost models to support proposal efforts.
Experience reviewing, understanding, and responding to customer requests for proposal (RFPs).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, develop, review and submit proposals that effectively represent our strategy and baseline while limiting non-compliances and weaknesses.
Collaborate with other team members to compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) requirements.
Lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement.
Other duties as assigned.
