This role will offer you the following daily challenges: As a Proposal Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex supplier proposals within the Space Business Area of Lockheed Martin (LM). Create LM Space proposals, cost and pricing data , and all other factors provided in support of the proposal. Confer with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price. Confer with LM Buyers and Technical Evaluators to ensure analysis accurately reflects findings. Prepare reports and charts that present findings, and support supplier negotiations as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
5+ years of professional experience
Previous professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
Demonstrated ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles
Demonstrated ability to conduct fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of key cost indicators
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel.
