About The Position
The Property Tax Accountant will assist in all areas of the property tax process, including preparing renditions, processing assessment notices and tax bills, and researching various tax issues. Position will include regular interaction with clients and taxing authorities.
Requirements
- Experience in personal property tax, A/P, A/R or bookkeeping is a plus but not required.
- College degree not required, but some college level experience is a plus.
- Requires general computer proficiency.
- Requires good problem solving skills, strong analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires some knowledge of financial principles and techniques.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the services offered to leasing companies and the technical tools available to perform such services.
- Take responsibility for preparation of personal property tax renditions, processing of assessments and notices, and preparation of correspondence to clients and assessors.
- Assist in various bookkeeping tasks pertinent to tracking and reconciling personal property tax renditions, assessments and bills.
- Interact with clients and taxing authorities.
