About The Position

Tech(x) is seeking a Property Specialist to support DoW logistics and property accountability operations. This role is critical to maintaining asset visibility, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across Army systems and supply chain environments. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in property accountability, GCSS-Army operations, and warehouse logistics, with the ability to operate in both structured and dynamic environments supporting mission-critical operations. Requirements

  • 2 –5 years of experience in property management, asset visibility, or supply chain logistics
  • Proven experience in DoD property accountability on federal contracts
  • Hands-on experience with GCSS-Army (GCSS-A)
  • Strong knowledge of: Army supply regulations and logistics processes
  • Strong knowledge of: Inventory and warehouse management principles
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, SharePoint)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • DoD secret level clearance.
  • 2 -5 years of Property Management experience; related experience (management, asset visibility, and property management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the HMS customer.
  • Experience with standard Tech(x) procurement procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Execute property accountability in accordance with AR 710-2 and AR 735-5
  • Maintain and manage property records within GCSS-Army (GCSS-A)
  • Perform inventory control, cataloging, and asset tracking for assigned equipment
  • Process turn-in of recoverable items and manage lifecycle accountability
  • Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
  • Receive, inspect, and document materials, components, and assemblies
  • Track long-lead items and adjust priorities to meet mission requirements
  • Coordinate with item managers to expedite critical supply needs
  • Utilize GCSS-Army for shelf-life management, inventory, and reporting
  • Prepare and submit PQDRs (Product Quality Deficiency Reports) and SDRs (Supply Discrepancy Reports)
  • Serve as warranty coordinator for defective or non-conforming items
  • Leverage Microsoft Office and logistics systems for reporting and compliance tracking
  • Provide a high performance level of customer service to the government customer.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support GCSS-A functionality
  • Ensure compliance with Army supply policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks
  • Support production control and administrative logistics functions as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
