About The Position

The Property Security Team Member is responsible for responding to security incidents, managing medical situations, conducting patrol rounds, and ensuring the safety and security of Thanksgiving Point venues. This role requires a strong commitment to upholding the organization's mission and values, with the ability to provide clinical care and assist staff in hazardous duties as needed.

Requirements

A valid Utah Driver’s license and current BCI screening and MVR.
Willingness to follow oral and written instructions, and work under the chain of command.
Ability to bend, push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Physical ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours without relief.
Demonstrated ability to implement correct clinical care in according to outlined procedures.
Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
A positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor.
A healthy work ethic and the ability to find and resolve unsafe or unsightly conditions without specific direction.
Pass a background check.
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check to drive for work.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Respond to security incidents and manage medical situations within legal parameters.
Conduct patrol rounds reporting all security/safety issues.
Respond to security matters at venues, coordinate monetary transfers, and evaluations.
Provide proper clinical care as needed and according to procedures.
Assist with service of safety equipment, tools, and devices.
Provide assistance and overwatch for staff in hazardous duties and other security operations.

Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
