About The Position

American Landmark Apartments, an award-winning workplace, is seeking an experienced and driven Property Manager for Alon on Castle Hills, a 306-unit residential community in San Antonio, TX. The Property Manager plays a critical role in the company's success, potentially involved in due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and committee participation. The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of the property under the direction of the Regional Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Property Manager
  • Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site or similar systems is required
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Background and drug screening are a requirement

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification is highly recommended
  • College degree helpful but not required
  • Bi-lingual skills are helpful

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise office staff
  • Conduct daily physical inspections of the property
  • Manage the property's leasing efforts
  • Utilize company leasing techniques and sales methods
  • Maintain full knowledge of property rental information
  • Operate the property's budget within company financial guidelines
  • Interview, screen, and hire staff
  • Prioritize resident requests with efficient and courteous responses
  • Generate various company-required reports
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of resident retention programs (e.g., newsletters, referral programs, social activities)
  • Secure at least 10% of the overall closed leases at the property
