About The Position

Property Management Associates (PMA) is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee 6 properties with a total of 58 units in Beverly Hills. All properties are conveniently located within a mile of each other. This role offers a free 1-bedroom apartment as part of the compensation package, and the business office will operate out of the manager's apartment. PMA is a full-service Property Management Company with over 30 years of experience specializing in commercial and residential property management in the greater Los Angeles area. They foster an entrepreneurial spirit, invest in their staff, and are a family-oriented company with growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years property management experience
  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and schedule maintenance staff
  • Experience overseeing vendors
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proven ability to market and lease apartments
  • Must live on-site
  • Must be available to work one weekend day per week
  • A valid driver’s license and evidence of auto insurance
  • Must pass a background check, DMV check, and Pre-Employment Physical

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the property
  • Supervise property, staff, and external vendors
  • Daily communication with senior property management personnel and property owners
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable
  • Responsible for a positive and prompt response to requests from residents
  • Perform daily/weekly comprehensive property walk-throughs, paying particular attention to items on the Preventive Maintenance checklist
  • Conduct unit inspections, including but not limited to move-in and move-out
  • Develop and implement marketing ideas and strategies
  • Heavily focused on leasing current vacancies and upcoming available units
  • Monitor the monthly financial property budget
  • Ensure compliance with housing laws, rules, and regulations
