About The Position

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES is seeking a Multi-Site Property Manager for 5 properties located in Hawthorne, totaling 109 units. This position includes a free 1-bedroom apartment. All properties are located within a few miles of each other, which improves work-life balance by reducing travel time. There is an opportunity for advancement, and both online and in-person training are provided. PMA, founded in 1991, is a full-service Property Management Company located in Los Angeles, California, specializing in commercial and residential property management, and commercial real estate for lease. This combined with their professional property management services makes PMA one of the largest property management companies in Southern California.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 plus years of conventional multifamily property management experience
• Knowledge of property accounting, such as Yardi
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency with computers, including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to market and lease apartments
• Must live on-site
• Valid Driver's License and Evidence of Auto Insurance
• A background, DMV, and Pre-Employment Physical will be conducted as part of our application process

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly comprehensive property walk-throughs, paying particular attention to items on the preventative maintenance list
• Conduct unit inspections, Property inspections, and upkeep
• Service of notes and all aspects of day-to-day management
• Market, conduct tours, and lease apartments
• Conduct competitive market rent analysis reporting
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff & vendors
