About The Position

Join our team as a Property Manager at Colburn Apartments! Are you an experienced affordable housing professional who is passionate about creating a welcoming community and supporting residents? Join our team at Colburn Apartments, a 92-unit affordable housing community featuring LIHTC, PBV, RAD, and HTF programming. In this role, you'll lead day-to-day property operations, work closely with an onsite Resident Services team, and help create a stable, supportive environment where residents can thrive.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of property management experience in an affordable housing environment.
  • Experience with PBV is strongly preferred; knowledge of LIHTC, RAD, and/or HTF programs is highly valued.
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to trauma-informed, resident-centered service delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous supervisory experience and the ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and property operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the 92-unit affordable housing community, ensuring strong occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Lead and support a small onsite team consisting of a Maintenance Technician and Part-Time Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician.
  • Oversee leasing, resident relations, rent collection, budgeting, financial reporting, and overall property performance.
  • Manage affordable housing compliance and resident certifications across LIHTC, PBV, RAD, HTF, and other applicable programs, partnering closely with the Compliance team.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and collaborate with onsite Resident Services to support housing stability and provide trauma-informed, resident-centered service.
  • Oversee property maintenance, unit turns, inspections, vendor relationships, and the overall appearance, safety, and condition of the community.
  • Address resident concerns and operational challenges with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
