About The Position
JCMLiving is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee one of our beautiful Manchester, CT communities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, organized, and tech-savvy leader who takes pride in both operational excellence and resident satisfaction. As Property Manager, you will take an active leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the community. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a high-quality living environment, supporting your team, building positive resident relationships, and achieving strong operational and financial performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Property Manager experience, preferably with market-rate residential properties
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and resident-relations skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and property management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Professional, dependable, and proactive approach
- Ability to balance resident service, team leadership, and business objectives
Responsibilities
- Maintain high occupancy and support leasing and retention efforts
- Build strong, positive relationships with residents and address concerns professionally
- Oversee rent collection and ensure timely payments
- Manage leases, renewals, and related documentation
- Lead, supervise, train, and develop office and maintenance team members
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and support
- Oversee the appearance, upkeep, and maintenance of the property
- Promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and employees
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local officials, police, and fire departments
- Ensure property operations are organized, efficient, and compliant with company standards
- Utilize technology and property management systems to effectively manage daily operations
