Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of on-site property management experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing a team in the Property Management industry.
  • 2-3 years financial experience writing and maintaining budgets.
  • Experience in supervisory role, leading and developing teams.
  • Proficient in Yardi property management software or other similar property management software
  • Have a dedication to providing and modeling exceptional service.
  • Demonstrate capacity for collaboration, with ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed and ambiguous environment.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency, a demonstrated work ethic and integrity.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and shift tasks quickly as well as to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence leadership regarding proposed strategies.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of entire on-site team, ensuring that all Rhapsody policies and procedures are being followed
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
  • Coordinate special projects as required.
  • Providing Best-In-Class service and communication to our residents and prospects, enhancing resident satisfaction leading to an increase in renewals and company reputation.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Develop and foster positive relations with all community vendors.
  • Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs and resident events.
  • Developing, mentoring and leading a high-performing, cohesive team, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Leading by example, instilling and modeling the Rhapsody mission to be the best national management company.
  • Ensure team is up-to-date on mandatory and legislative training initiatives.
