About The Position

Exciting opportunity for a multifamily Property Manager to oversee several assets in university-adjacent communities with a growing real estate investment and management firm. This newly created position will be responsible for the property management operations of the business in Greensboro, NC. This role is primarily office-based, with occasional flexibility for remote work when appropriate. The position requires regular on-site presence in Greensboro, NC. The amount of time spent in the office may vary depending on project demands and seasonal workload. Key roles include marketing, leasing, tenant screening, responding to tenant inquiries and concerns, coordinating preventative maintenance measures, ensuring maintenance repairs are completed sufficiently, and maintaining client satisfaction. Responsibilities also include vendor management, budgeting and reporting to senior management.

Requirements

  • The ability to work extended hours, including Saturdays during the leasing season (April-July) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing leasing and marketing initiatives
  • Communication with customers (i.e. this associate will be the main point of contact for our residents in Greensboro)
  • Management of maintenance staff
  • Leading/bidding capital expenditure projects
  • Vendor management & payments
  • Managing property income/expenses, contributing to maximizing NOI
  • Monitoring inbound maintenance inquiries on multiple weekends per month, primarily to respond to any emergency maintenance requests (e.g., HVAC service)
