About The Position

JCMLiving is seeking an experienced, results-driven Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our market-rate apartment communities. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven ability to maximize property performance while delivering an outstanding resident experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Property Manager experience managing market-rate multifamily communities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office; strong technical aptitude is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet occupancy, financial, and operational objectives.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and maintain high occupancy through effective leasing and resident retention strategies.
  • Foster positive resident relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving concerns professionally.
  • Oversee rent collections, lease administration, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise leasing, administrative, and maintenance team members.
  • Ensure the community is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and capital improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local municipalities, police, fire departments, and community organizations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and professional development.
  • Monitor budgets, operating expenses, and financial performance to achieve property goals.
  • Utilize property management software and technology to ensure operational efficiency and accurate reporting.
