About The Position

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a PROPERTY MANAGER who will oversee operations at Fairlawn Village, an affordable housing community located in Orlando, Florida. This position offers full-time salaried employment at a competitive salary with a strong benefit package. The property is located in Orlando, has 116 Units (1, 2 & 3 BR), and is newer construction. The role requires maintaining a positive, customer service-oriented approach to management, overseeing community operations including marketing & leasing, supervision of maintenance, purchasing and working within budget, handling resident concerns or issues, and interaction with vendors. A key responsibility is ensuring strict compliance with all programmatic standards for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) site. The manager will also be responsible for leadership and supervision, including hiring, training, motivating, and assisting in the evaluation of the on-site team, and directing staff activities to maximize productivity and efficiency. Administrative duties include maximizing the usage of RealPage’s OneSite software for operating efficiency, managing reporting to RPM and corporate team, biweekly payroll, and weekly AP packages.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and RealPage OneSite.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, corporate team, residents).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior LIHTC, Tax Credit experience preferred.
  • An analytical mind to evaluate challenges and recommend an appropriate course of action.

Responsibilities
