About The Position
CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Community Manager for Juniper Manor I & II Apartments in Trumansburg, NY. As our company continues to grow, we're looking for motivated professionals to help us build strong, welcoming communities. The primary goal of the Community Manager is to create a welcoming environment for residents while ensuring smooth property operations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Affordable Housing (HUD/LIHTC/RD required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Strong leasing, bookkeeping, and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass a 5-year background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HUD, DHCR, HFA, Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and all applicable laws
- Process move-ins, move-outs, and security deposits using property management software
- Maintain resident files, verifications, lease renewals, and collections
- Coordinate and conduct lease renewals, interim and annual recertifications
- Promote the property and build a strong sense of community among residents
