About The Position

JLL is seeking a Property Manager for their growing Industrial Property Management team in Northern San Diego, near La Jolla (UTC area). This role will support an Institutional portfolio and is responsible for providing direct management oversight for assigned Industrial properties. The Property Manager's primary goal is to maximize Net Operating Income (NOI) and asset value on behalf of JLL clients. Key responsibilities include property management, operations, maintenance, client and tenant relations, supporting the leasing team, marketing, accounts payable collections, annual budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting. The position involves leadership, outstanding customer service, preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, and staff development. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to maintain successful relationships with building owners and tenants. The Property Manager will contribute to establishing and refining work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices, while also developing successful, diverse teams through inclusive communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial property management experience
  • Recent experience in one of these (office, retail, industrial, healthcare) is a plus
  • Strong financial acumen and experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reports
  • Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiation, documentation, and administration
  • CA Real Estate License is required within 120 days.
  • Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients
  • Proficiency in the use and application of technology tools and a willingness to continually develop skillset
  • Proven track record of results, ability to act decisively, think big, and manage time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
