About The Position

National Church Residences is seeking a Property Manager II to oversee the daily operations of affordable housing communities, Neshannock Woods (81 units in New Castle, PA) and Buchanan Manor (40 units in Wheatland, PA). These are senior apartment communities. The role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains high occupancy rates, supervises staff effectively, and fosters positive resident relations. The company is driven by a vision to advance better living for 100,000 seniors by 2030 and is the nation's largest nonprofit provider of affordable senior housing.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of affordable housing property management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of housing regulations, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and able to meet National Church Residences’ motor policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • CPM or ARM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage property operations, budgets, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and related programs.
  • Oversee leasing, marketing, rent collection, and occupancy.
  • Address resident concerns and coordinate move-ins/outs.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate on-site staff.
  • Oversee maintenance, inspections, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit required compliance reports.
  • Ensures Fair Housing compliance, accurate waiting lists, and organized tenant files.
  • Maintain strong MOR and REAC inspection outcomes.
