This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of a property or group of properties for a client, ensuring all obligations under the property’s management agreement are met. Key duties include lease administration, monitoring collections, and coordinating default proceedings. The Property Manager ensures compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, relevant codes, regulations, and governmental directives. The position involves leadership and management of property staff, including hiring and performance management. Responsibilities also encompass developing and executing annual inspection processes, creating operating and capital budgets, tracking variances, overseeing CAM reconciliations, and managing vendor contracts. The manager will accurately abstract property leases, maintain communication with third-party owners and accounting for contract compliance and reporting, and coordinate tenant and building construction work. Participation in leasing and client team meetings is required to ensure effective communication and achievement of client goals, alongside fostering positive relationships with tenants, external clients, and internal clients.
