Responsible for the management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the manager’s obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement. This role involves comprehensive lease administration, monitoring collections, and coordinating default proceedings. The manager ensures compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives. Key responsibilities include providing leadership to property staff, developing and overseeing annual inspection processes, managing operating and capital budgets, and handling CAM reconciliations. The position also requires bidding, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts, accurately abstracting property leases, and maintaining strong relationships with third-party owners and accounting teams for contract compliance and reporting. The Property Manager coordinates and oversees tenant and building construction work, participates in leasing and client team meetings, and fosters positive relationships with tenants and both external and internal clients.
