About The Position

We are currently seeking an entry level individual to join our team as a Government Property Management Analyst who will contribute to a dynamic Contracts & Property team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with property, logistics, material handling, inventory, or supply chain along with exceptional organizational and communication skills. As a Government Property Management Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting team members in managing all aspects of government-owned property. The role will support multiple property lifecycle areas (i.e., acquisition, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship or contract closure). You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 and all related Government Agency clauses. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Contracts and sits onsite at our office in El Segundo, CA. This position's internal job code is Govt & Cap Property Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for a level 1 (entry level).

Requirements

  • A.A. degree
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a security clearance. Additionally, applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance.

  • Prior related internship experience (or related full-time experience)
  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge FAR and DFARS property clauses

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a precise database of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP)
  • Assist in conducting physical inventories and cyclical counts to verify the existence and condition of assets
  • Ensure all property activities adhere to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) standards
  • Process property acquisition, transfer, and disposal requests, ensuring all paperwork is complete and approved
  • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to track the movement of hardware across the production floor
  • Generate periodic property reports for internal leadership and government customers
  • Assists with property tagging and tracking Government Property upon receipt
  • Handles basic property related activities at completion or termination of contract
