About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Property Maintenance, this position involves a wide variety of hands-on work across our office, warehouse, and retail properties. Responsibilities will include tenant turnover, construction and fit-out work, building maintenance, repairs, and general property improvement projects.
Requirements
- Prior experience in general construction, property maintenance, or a related field
- Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and roofs as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to perform a variety of hands-on tasks and learn new skills
Responsibilities
- General construction and tenant fit-out work
- Tenant turnover and property preparation
- Demolition and site preparation
- Drywall installation, repair, and finishing
- Carpentry and general woodwork
- Interior and exterior painting
- Pressure washing
- Minor roofing repairs and maintenance
- Flooring installation and repair
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Assist with property improvement and construction projects
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Perform other maintenance and repair duties as needed
