About The Position

The Jasper, a premier luxury multifamily community in Charleston, is hiring two Property Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of the property through responsive service, preventative maintenance, and high-quality workmanship. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3–5 years of maintenance experience (multifamily or related field preferred)
Strong working knowledge of general building systems and repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift, carry, and work in varying weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

CPO certification preferred

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
Complete unit turns and prepare apartments for new residents
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and address issues proactively
Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
