About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician for hands-on work across office, warehouse, and retail properties. The position involves tenant turnover, construction and fit-out work, building maintenance and repairs, and general property improvement projects. The role is based at the ACT Corporate Office in Hagerstown, Maryland, and reports to the Director of Property Maintenance.

Requirements

Prior experience in general construction, property maintenance, or a related field.
Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and roofs as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to perform a variety of hands-on tasks and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

Perform general construction and tenant fit-out work.
Complete tenant turnover and prepare properties.
Perform demolition and site preparation.
Install, repair, and finish drywall.
Perform carpentry and general woodwork.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces.
Pressure wash properties.
Complete minor roofing repairs and maintenance.
Install and repair flooring.
Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
Assist with property improvement and construction projects.
Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools.
Perform other maintenance and repair duties as needed.
