About The Position
Seaside Vacation Homes is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to help care for approximately 100 vacation homes and condos between Gearhart and Cannon Beach, with the majority in Seaside. This role focuses on professional home care, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, inspections, and light repairs across well-kept vacation properties, rather than construction. The job involves diagnosing problems, making quality repairs within skill sets, and identifying when to refer issues to specialists. Accurate documentation of completed work on a laptop is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- Clean Driving Record
- Must have established residence on North Coast or Transition Plan
- Reliable car or truck to get to work / valid DL and clean driving record
- Basic computer, internet and typing skills
- Comfortable using common tools such as a drill, multimeter, drywall tools, and basic hand and power tools
Nice To Haves
- Advanced computer skills
- Professional maintenance or home-care experience
- Backgrounds in handyman services, property or apartment maintenance, construction, contracting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, inspection, facilities maintenance, or other skilled trades
