About The Position

This role involves conducting drive-by occupancy inspections for mortgage companies and banks. The primary responsibility is to document the occupancy status and physical condition of mortgaged properties. Inspectors will determine if a property is occupied or vacant, rate its condition as Good, Fair, or Poor, take photos using a smartphone, and report findings via a mobile app. This is an independent contractor role (1099).

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
• Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
• Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.

Responsibilities

• Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
• Rate the property condition as Good, Fair, or Poor.
• Take photos of the property using a smartphone.
• Fill out a form on a cell phone using a downloadable app.
• Answer multiple-choice questions about the property condition.
