About The Position

Mortgage Field Service Contractors are responsible for determining the occupancy status and physical condition of mortgaged properties. This involves visiting properties, taking specific photos using a smartphone, and assessing the general condition of the property. The role is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, such as those in the gig economy (e.g., Uber Drivers, Lyft, Door Dash, Uber Eats, Pizza delivery). By law, mortgage companies and banks are required to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. Property Inspectors take photos and determine if the property is occupied or vacant, then report the general condition of the property using a mobile app. Inspectors will determine if a property is occupied or vacant, rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor, take photos of the property using a smart cell phone, fill out a form on a cell phone using a downloadable app, and answer multiple-choice questions about the property condition.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
• Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
• Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
• Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
