The finance team at Stream Data Centers is responsible for the controllership of each data center location and corporate expenses, including forecasting and managing revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenses. The team works closely with business partners and internal accounting teams, with a continuous effort towards scalability and automation to support the company's rapid growth. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a finance-supporting function
  • 1-3 years of experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience with Yardi, NetSuite, or other ERP platforms
  • Experience handling large numbers of charges, contracts, and accounts
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including modeling and data analysis
  • Familiarity with contract payment terms
  • Strong attention to accuracy and completeness
  • High degree of comfort with P&L and Balance Sheet concepts
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience with Property Accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics

Responsibilities

  • Report monthly spending, and forecast commitments against leasing/rent, operating expenses including headcount budgets, and capital expenses.
  • Review and approve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable items as well as preparing aging reports on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure proper cash flow is captured in a timely manner.
  • Provide clear analyses on anomalies or changes in the portfolio to the currently forecasted plan.
  • Support quarter, annual, and ad-hoc planning cycles using corporate goals, historical actual data, and future commitment data.
  • Build, analyze, and audit capital draw reporting for JV partners and debt facilitators.
  • Drive quarter, annual, and ad-hoc planning cycles using corporate goals, historical actual data, and future commitment data.
  • Work closely with property accounting on monthly accruals and variance analysis.
  • Partner with operations leaders to drive towards financial goals.
  • Lead Continuous improvement activities on monthly reporting process to make it faster, more accurate, and provide new information.
