About The Position

Hyundai Eng America, Inc. (HEA) is seeking an experienced Property & Facilities Manager to oversee property and facility operations at Hyundai Rio Vista, Inc. (RVT) in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position combining Property Management and Facilities Management responsibilities. As the Property & Facilities Manager, you will serve as the primary on-site representative responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the property. You will oversee building operations, tenant support, vendors and contractors, budgets, safety and compliance, and capital improvement projects while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and professional workplace.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Property Management and/or Facilities Management experience
  • Experience managing contractors and service providers
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project coordination
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (written and verbal) required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Commercial office building management experience
  • Industrial or manufacturing facility experience
  • CAPEX / Capital Improvement Project experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily property and facility operations and maintenance
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for tenants, stakeholders, and service providers
  • Manage key building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective repairs
  • Conduct facility inspections and monitor property conditions
  • Support asset preservation and property improvement initiatives
  • Manage security, janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and other service providers
  • Review contracts and monitor vendor performance
  • Coordinate contractor activities and on-site work schedules
  • Monitor service quality, costs, and contract compliance
  • Support building renovations, repairs, and capital improvement projects
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality
  • Manage punch lists, project closeout, and turnover activities
  • Support and monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets
  • Review invoices and analyze operating costs
  • Prepare operational and project status reports
  • Identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities
  • Support compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety requirements
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Coordinate incident response and corrective actions
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities
