About The Position

This role is responsible for helping to create an outstanding guest experience by keeping the property safe, functional, and well-maintained. The Property Engineer will follow guest room preventive maintenance checklists, complete room maintenance, and ensure spaces are left clean, safe, and free of debris. They will perform basic repairs including replacing light fixtures, grout and caulking repairs, tightening loose fixtures and toilet seats, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, and painting and wall touch-ups. The role also involves interacting with guests, responding to maintenance needs promptly and professionally, and immediately reporting safety concerns or significant maintenance issues to management. Meeting all quality assurance standards and expectations is also a key part of the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in general repair such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and maintaining mechanical equipment
• Professional, courteous demeanor
• A can-do attitude and passion for guest service
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond in a friendly, helpful way
• A consistently caring and respectful approach
• A gracious host mindset—for guests, vendors, and future teammates
