About The Position

The Troy YMCA is seeking a full-time Property Director. This position supports the YMCA’s work strengthening the community and supervises all members of the facility’s property department. The Property Director directs maintenance, cleaning, and improvement operations for branch facilities and vehicles, including preventative maintenance and related administrative duties such as payroll and budgets.

Requirements

• Two-year degree in a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC discipline, or a high school diploma/GED with 3–5 years of experience in cleaning and building trades.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all members of the facility’s property department.
• Direct maintenance, cleaning, and improvement operations for branch facilities and vehicles.
• Oversee preventative maintenance.
• Handle related administrative duties, including payroll and budgets.
