About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Property Damage Specialist to join our personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience handling automobile property damage claims and working with insurance companies, repair facilities, clients, and attorneys to resolve claims efficiently and maximize client recovery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience handling automobile property damage claims, insurance claims, or a similar role.
  • Personal injury law firm experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automobile insurance claims and the property-damage process.
  • Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case-management software.
  • Professional, empathetic, and client-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal team.
  • Must be bilingual speaking Spanish fluently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with total-loss claims, diminished-value claims, rental-car issues, repair estimates, towing/storage disputes, insurance coverage, and subrogation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage property damage claims from initial intake through resolution.
  • Communicate with clients regarding vehicle damage, repairs, rental vehicles, towing, storage, and insurance coverage.
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding property damage claims.
  • Obtain and review estimates, photographs, repair invoices, total-loss valuations, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, diminished-value claims, and total-loss claims.
  • Assist clients with rental vehicle arrangements and transportation issues.
  • Track claims, deadlines, payments, and outstanding documentation in the firm's case-management system.
  • Follow up regularly with insurance carriers, repair facilities, lienholders, and other third parties.
  • Identify coverage issues, disputes, delays, and potential problems and escalate them to the appropriate attorney or case manager.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and documentation.
  • Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and other members of the legal team to ensure a smooth client experience.
  • Provide professional, compassionate, and timely customer service to clients who are dealing with the aftermath of an accident.
