About The Position

This role involves evaluating, handling, and adjusting property or other claims from Members and other Claimants. The goal is to ensure high customer satisfaction through professionalism, integrity, fairness, and promptness. The trainee will assist the Field Claims Supervisor with developing other Claims Representatives, including workload management and problem-solving. Maintaining satisfactory productivity levels and claims handling cycle time is crucial. Continuous job skill development through training is required. Key responsibilities include managing cycle time, severity, claim quality, customer satisfaction, and personal professional development.

Requirements

  • Must have a 4-year college degree or 2+ years of Property and Casualty Experience
  • 2+ years of practical experience in construction or related industry
  • Active enrollment in continuing education is a must.
  • FCR must maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required.
  • Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • The representative must possess basic skills with personal computer; experience with Windows, word processing, and internet, and other documents as required.
  • Must have knowledge of office administration procedures and be able to operate most standard office equipment.
  • Must pay attention to detail in composing and proofing of materials.
  • Must be self-motivated with initiative and ability to make decisions and accept responsibility.
  • Be flexible to respond to unexpected situations that require immediate attention.
  • A high level of confidentiality is to be maintained by the employee.
