Assists in receiving, stocking, shipping, and maintaining inventory of all center supplies and equipment. This role involves creating and sustaining positive working relationships, assisting students in adjusting to Center life, and ensuring student needs are met professionally. The Property Assistant also prepares reports, maintains confidentiality, and facilitates assistance in case of emergencies. A key part of the role includes performing shipping and receiving duties, inventory control, verifying incoming supplies, issuing inventory items, and monitoring inventory levels. The position also involves preparing purchase requisitions, placing Blanket Purchase Agreements, contacting vendors, and processing purchase orders. Daily review of Blanket Purchase Agreements and maintaining computer listings of vendors are also responsibilities. The role requires attending staff training sessions and performing other assigned duties.
