The Property and Casualty Insurance Advisor contributes to enhancing the experience of a life event, such as the purchase of a new vehicle or a home by preparing premium quotes and issue insurance contracts. Advisors are called upon to assess the specific needs of each member and client, and provide support in choosing the appropriate coverage, while promoting our personalized services. Needs include follow up on files, analyze renewals requiring special underwriting, and correct contracts as needed. The goal is to maintain the business relationship and be first in the hearts of our clients. At Desjardins, our insurance agents are evaluated on human objectives that enable them to deliver quality service, without the pressure of sales. Listen. Empathize. Assess. Note. Reassure The Claims Reporting Specialists are an integral part of the claims process and claims experience for our clients. At the front line, they take First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls from our clients from the scene of an accident or post damage to their properties following floods, fire, hail and other disasters. Claims Reposting Specialists handle each call with care, empathy and calm demeanour. Leveraging their active listening skills, they assess the client’s state (mental and physical) and react accordingly. Using an analytical and probing approach, they note down as many details regarding the loss to create the claims file for our Claims Advisors and they reassure our clients that they will be taken care of during their time of need.
