About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Property Accounting Manager to oversee financial information processing, reporting, and analysis for its Spotsylvania, Virginia, property. The role ensures accurate financial operations and supports and mentors accounting staff. As part of the leadership team, the manager supports the resort’s financial health and operational integrity while guiding and inspiring associates and contributing to extraordinary guest experiences. The position covers waterpark wristband inventory, house accounts, revenue posting, and the cash office; monthly financial statement preparation and analysis; daily revenue journals; and accounting processes for on-property condominiums. The listed salary range is $80,000–$90,000.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience managing finances, preferably in the hospitality sector.
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), processes, and procedures.
Experience using computerized information systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Hands-on, team-oriented leadership approach.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financial management preferred.
Experience managing finances in the hospitality sector preferred.
