Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in US GAAP accrual-basis accounting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Sharp analytical skills and real attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Run the monthly close and record journal entries for property-level activity, with full accuracy and GAAP compliance.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to sub-ledgers and supporting schedules, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Help compile and prepare supporting schedules for interim and annual tax returns.
- Prepare quarterly and annual debt compliance packages and other corporate schedules.
- Partner between Accounting and Asset Management to deliver financial analysis, including property operating results and leasing data, in the monthly reporting package.
- Run ad hoc financial analyses for executives.
