In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full financial reporting cycle for assigned properties, playing a key role in maintaining the financial health and performance of our portfolio. Requirements

  • Ability to process and manage large volumes of data across multiple properties
  • Strong administrative writing skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Solid general math skills
  • Experience with financial software (Yardi preferred)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial information
  • Experience with financial reporting
  • Effective verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare work by gathering and organizing documents and related information to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Process accounts payable by verifying transaction details, scheduling disbursements, and securing payment authorization.
  • Manage revenue processes by verifying transaction information, calculating charges and refunds, preparing invoices, and identifying delinquent accounts or insufficient payments.
  • Support collections by following up with delinquent accounts and communicating with customers on payment issues.
  • Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account data and trends.
  • Maintain accurate accounting ledgers through timely and precise transaction posting.
  • Reconcile accounts by verifying statements and ensuring transaction accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reviewing documentation and initiating payments, stop payments, or adjustments as needed.
  • Safeguard financial accuracy and compliance by adhering to internal accounting controls.
  • Protect data integrity by completing database backups.
  • Preserve financial history by maintaining organized and thorough accounting records.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute wherever needed to achieve shared goals.
