About The Position

TSCG, a third party commercial real estate company, is looking for a Property Accountant to join our growing team! This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia in the Cobb Galleria Office Park. Since 1984, our retail real estate platform has provided a full assortment of advisory services to tenants, landlords, developers, investors, and financial institutions throughout our territory. Our work on their behalf is dedicated to the validation of those descriptions. With 20 offices throughout the eastern U.S., we are the largest firm in our field in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 years’ accounting
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Must be organized, concise, detailed, flexible, and efficient
  • Have the ability to handle multiple properties and multiple clients
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide references

Responsibilities

  • Maintain multiple property accounts for multiple clients.
  • Maintain, manage and organize a high-volume email inbox.
  • Accurately record income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities on a monthly basis.
  • Review reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and applicable schedules to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Review monitoring of cash balances and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Review and prepare cash funding requests.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Prepare and assist property management in annual budget process.
  • Update projected cash analysis schedules throughout year.
  • Review and calculate annual operating expense recoveries (CAM reconciliation).
  • Maintain tenant ledgers and assist with tenant disputes.
  • Calculate and prepare management fees.
  • Monitor tenant sales reporting and calculate percentage rent.
  • Review and prepare monthly distributions to equity partners.
  • Participate in client calls and email correspondences.
