Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Basic understanding of computer concepts and usage.
  • Familiarity with propane systems, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn propane systems and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments and weather conditions.
  • Basic computer skills for completing service orders and maintaining documentation.
  • Class B CDL License

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a related field preferred.
  • Tanker/ Hazmat Endorsement

Responsibilities

  • Install tanks adhering to all state and local requirements including NFPA 58 and 54.
  • Complete training and testing for all required state licenses and certifications, if applicable.
  • Immediately report all incidents and accidents to the General Manager.
  • Maintain a Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements as required.
  • Assist with deliveries by driving a delivery vehicle, as necessary.
  • Accurately complete and submit service orders daily.
  • Perform daily inspections (DVIR) of the truck, maintaining it in excellent working condition.
  • Accurately document and bill for all parts used, following sales proposals for pricing.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying heavy equipment or materials (up to 75 pounds).
  • On-call responsibilities, as the needs of the company require that you work past your regular departure time or otherwise outside of your regular work hours.
