About The Position

Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC) is looking for a Propane Service Technician/Driver to join our team in Gobles, MI. This is a hands-on role where you'll deliver propane to our customers, install and service propane systems, and ensure safe and reliable energy delivery every day. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and a satisfactory driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (required or willingness to obtain).
• Valid medical examiner's certificate.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Basic wiring or plumbing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Apple and Microsoft Office products.
• Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and be part of an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver propane to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Install propane tanks and related systems for new and existing customers.
• Perform maintenance and service work to repair or upgrade propane equipment.
• Maintain accurate truck inventory and requisition materials as needed.
• Support plant inventory management and operational needs.
• Collaborate with customer service to coordinate scheduling and respond to out-of-gas calls.
• Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers on MEC's products and services.
