Propane Gas Service Technician
About The Position
Spicer Advanced Gas is seeking a full-time LP Gas Service Technician to join their Kingston, MA team. This role involves servicing residential and commercial propane systems. The technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, and setting up gas, heating, and restaurant equipment, including LP gas tanks, lines, meters, and regulators. Key duties include investigating leaks, performing safety inspections, and ensuring systems are in compliance with codes and regulations. The position requires problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot gas-burning equipment and ensure clients' systems are in optimal operational order.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts LP Installer License or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working with propane gas systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot gas-burning equipment
- Ability to work overtime and run on-call shifts
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to serve the South Shore area
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid MA state driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
