The Proofreader position is responsible for reviewing legal documents for grammar and verbiage corrections. This role involves identifying and correcting spelling, grammar, and verbiage errors in complex legal documents, as well as detecting formatting and compositional errors. The Proofreader will also check corrected proofs against mark-up for quality assurance, assist the Document Services team with document production and preparation, and handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information. Communication with the manager and client on job or deadline issues is essential, as is adherence to company and client site policies. Other duties may be assigned.
