Position Summary: In this pivotal role, you will provide support in the development, data compilation, proofing, and communication of promotional events and ads for corporate and/or Independent retailers. Your daily responsibilities will encompass tasks ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements

Degree in Business Administration or Marketing, Graphic Arts or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years marketing experience, preferably in a food/ beverage/ CPG or wholesale/retail environment.
Experience within a grocery wholesale/retail industry preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational, prioritization, proofreading and attention to detail skills.
Ability to meet and work within strict deadlines.
Strong knowledge of Advertising, Marketing, Merchandising and general understanding of related Sales, Category Management and Pricing practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and communicate promotional programs for assigned area both in print and digital
Review promotional publications to ensure accuracy of layout/design, copy, pricing, etc.
Review and process retailer advertising bills for inclusion on retailer invoice.
Follow up and ensure timely resolution of any issues as necessary.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with independent customers in creation of managed ads and supporting promotional reports.
In collaboration with Business Planning team, develop and communicate the weekly Complex promotion detail to assure awareness and accuracy of coupon information for corporate and Independent stores.
Validate the data integrity of Company digital coupons, approve coupons for publication by vendor, and verify the process integrity for offer feeds to graphic services for advertising/signage printing; responsible for problem resolution as required.
Communicate merchandising strategies and promotional plans with independent customers.
May participate in the implementation of display programs for new items, banner specific items, etc.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
