About The Position

WNEM, a Gray Television station, is recruiting a Promotion Producer. The successful candidate will write, produce, direct, film, edit, and creatively execute news promos, commercials, station campaigns, and marketing projects. Strong writing and production skills necessary. Experienced and proficient with non-linear editing tools, videography and cinematography, lighting and sound equipment.

The Promotion Producer will work with the Creative Services Director through the process of concepting, executing, and delivering promotions and commercials, graphic elements, behind-the-scenes promotions and vignettes, and a wide variety of on-air and digital deliverables. Interacts with external and internal customers, including clients, media executives, and the news department. Comprehension of creative storytelling, creative visuals, creative music selection, file compression, codecs, bitrate, audio, and balancing audio levels and file organization.

Requirements

• Strong writing and production skills.
• Experienced and proficient with non-linear editing tools, videography and cinematography, lighting and sound equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to always interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clear motor vehicle record.
