About The Position

We are currently seeking a Promotions Coordinator to assist with our branding and marketing remotes. Promotions Coordinator Are you outgoing, social, can interact easily with people? MediaCo, home of HOT 97, WBLS, located in New York City is currently seeking energetic, highly confident, highly organized, innovative, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals to join our Promotions Brand Ambassador team. This is a part time position. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of related experience and/or training required.
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and appearance while working unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, dependable, timely and accurate with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the public.
- Highly organized, Computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and able to use standard office equipment (i.e., copier and fax machine).
- Driving station vehicles is a core responsibility of this position, so employees must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, and when applicable, state mandated automobile insurance.
- Occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work on weekdays, primarily weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

Responsibilities
- Represent the radio station and our clients, working promotional events throughout the New York metropolitan area that include schools, malls, auto dealerships, retailers, concerts, movie-screenings, supermarkets and more.
- Coordinate and communicate with sponsors and/or venue organizations regarding upcoming concerts or station promotional events.
- Setup/breakdown tent and stage, operate sound system and maintain equipment, and organize remotes on location (training to be provided)
- Interact with event attendees and the public at promotional events, including handing out prizes and promotional materials.
- Host event and play games on microphone in front of a crowd
- Write detailed recaps of all station events, including taking photos of events.
- Assist with preparation for events, stocking supplies and packing equipment.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal departments.
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
